A Nightclub’s Online Hub: Crafting an Electrifying Website with Eveny Theme and Tickera Plugin

In the pulsating world of nightlife, where every moment is an experience and every beat carries its own rhythm, having a vibrant online presence is paramount.

As nightclubs strive to connect with their audience and create immersive digital experiences, the choice of a website theme becomes crucial. Enter Eveny, a dynamic theme from Themetick designed specifically for nightlife establishments. Paired with the versatile Tickera plugin, it becomes the ultimate toolkit for crafting an electrifying online hub for any nightclub. Let’s dive into the journey of creating a captivating website that perfectly blends Eveny’s aesthetics with Tickera’s functionality.

Setting the stage with Eveny theme

Eveny theme sets the stage for a visually stunning website with its sleek design and intuitive layout options. Built with the needs of nightclubs in mind, it offers features tailored to showcase events, artists, and the unique ambiance of the venue. Now, as we at Themetick are strong believers in simplicity, Eveny is no exception to this so setting it up is as as easy as it gets.

As soon as you install and activate the theme, you will be offered to install a few additional plugins which we strongly recommend you to do. Among others, one of the plugins offered for installation is Tickera which will be the cornerstone of the event ticketing feature on your website.

Right after installation of the plugins, you will be offered to import the demo content. Although you might be tempted not to do this, we recommend you to still try it out as this will let you hit the ground running with the website that will look as finished product right from the beginning. Of course, you can make the changes along the any way you see fit and given the Eveny’s FSE (full-site editing) nature, making any changes is in true what-you-see-is-what-you-get fashion.

Tickera – your ticket to the world of event ticketing

Tickera plugin takes the nightclub website to the next level by providing comprehensive ticketing solutions integrated seamlessly with Eveny theme. Whether it’s selling tickets for exclusive VIP parties or general admission to live performances, Tickera offers the flexibility and functionality needed to manage ticket sales effectively. Now, while you may be intimidated with the sheer amount of options available in Tickera, taking a good look of its layout will soon reveal that it is quite simple to use and logically organized.

Let’s take it for example that you’re hosting world famous DJ at your nightclub and want to get most out of the tickets for this event. It will take just a few steps and absolutely no special skills to make this happen. Let’s start from the beginning.

Create event

In Tickera, everything starts with creating events so this is the first step: navigate to the Events area, click the Create New button and take a good look at the available options. Vast majority of these options are optional (all except the title and event start and end date and time) but there are quite a few fields there that may be useful so we recommend you to spend a few minutes to get to know what options are available and use whichever of these options you want. It is worth mentioning that each event created in Tickera automatically gets its own presentation page so keep that in mind.

Apart from the general information such as event date and time, location, etc. you can use the event description area to enter all the relevant information about the event. Use this to showcase a bit of information about the celebrity DJ, add some flashy images, catchy headings… anything you can imagine. And don’t worry much about the styling, formatting and responsiveness and just let the Eveny awesomeness take care of it and work its magic.

Ticket types

As soon as you finish creating your event, you can proceed creating ticket types for that event. If you’re using Tickera as a standalone, this is done within Tickera itself while if you’re using Tickera alongside WooCommerce via Bridge for WooCommerce, ticket types are created as WooCommerce products. Whichever the case, though, available options are the same and there are no limitations on how many ticket types you can create for a single event so fire away and create as many as you want or need.

But let’s say, for the sake of example, that you want to offer Early Bird tickets at reduced price but just the first day of ticket sales. It’s easy – create a ticket type and name it Early Bird, set its price and then in the Ticket selling availability enter start/end date and time during which this ticket type will be available, save it – done.

Of course, when the Early Bird ticket type expires, you will want to to offer tickets at a full price. The process is the same: create a ticket type, name it as you wish, enter the price but only this time, set ticket selling availability with the start date that matches the end date of the Early Bird ticket type and that’s it: as soon as the Early bird expires, this ticket type will kick in. No manual actions required.

Rinse and repeat for all the other ticket types that you want to offer.

Configure payment gateway

Since you won’t be giving tickets for free (right?), you will need to enable and configure at least one payment gateway that you will be using to collect the funds for the ticket sales. Now, if you’re using Tickera as a standalone, you will be doing this in Tickera’s Settings while if you’re using Tickera alongside WooCommerce via Bridge for WooCommerce, you will be configuring payment gateways in WooCommerce itself. Either way, this is pretty straightforward thing and if you already have a merchant account with your preferred payment gateway, configuring it with either Tickera or WooCommerce will be a matter of copying and pasting a few of credentials.

Go, sell some tickets!

Yes, that’s right: if you did all of the above, you’re ready to start selling tickets for your event.

But just before you do, we encourage you to check how the event page looks – you will be amazed!

And if you don’t like a thing or two, making changes is as easy as editing the event and using the awesomeness of block editor to fit in everything you want.

What else?

Oh, there’s actually plenty more that you can do depending on your specific needs. For example, you can collect some additional information on the checkout with the Custom Forms add-on, sell table reservations with the assigned seating with the Seating Charts and when the day of the event comes, you can use Checkinera apps to effortlessly check-in tickets that you have sold on your website. There’s a myriad of other add-ons available and all of them are listed here and all of them are guaranteed to work with Tickera and Eveny theme.
